2 nights / 3 days Backpacking Adventure with all Ladies

Service Description

New to backpacking and want to learn how it's done? Have a few backpacking trips under your belt and want to refine your skills? Join us and up to 8 other women for a restorative adventure into the mountains. Itinerary: Day 1 mileage and elevation gain: 7 miles with 2,400 ft gain We will meet at our trailhead, pack our backpacks and head off to our first night stay at a beautiful alpine lake. As we hike we will take plenty of snack, swim, and water breaks to fully appreciate our surroundings. While hiking and/or stopping we encourage questions...and for us, no question is too silly or simple to be asked and answered. Once we reach our first campsite for the night, we welcome you to relax, swim, snack, and enjoy each others company before we settle into some optional guided stretching, journaling, and meditation. After a yummy dinner and a warming fire we will get cozy for the night in our tents with our new tent buddy. Day 2 Mileage and elevation gain: 2 miles and 800 ft gain Rise peacefully and watch the sun creep over the mountains and onto the lake with your morning coffee or tea (Or don't and sleep in and enjoy the darkness of your eyelids). To kick off our morning we will continue with some guided stretching and setting intentions for the day as we prep for breakfast. After breaky we will go over how to breakdown camp, repack our backpacks, and set off to our next campsite. Once we arrive at our second beautiful alpine lake, we will set up camp and then choose your own adventure. If sitting by the lake reading a book and swimming all day speaks to you, then enjoy! If you are wanting some more activity and have that explorer itch then we can send you and a buddy (yes a buddy ~ we are big fans of the buddy system) on a guided hike to the next series of lakes. The beauty with this option is that you can make it as long or as short of a hike as you want. Once we are all back at camp we will stretch, journal, and meditate. Day 3 Mileage and elevation Gain & loss: 5.4 Miles gain 680 ft. & 3,580 ft. loss Rise and shine with some more coffee and stretches. Take in our last morning swims and pack up at a leisurely pace to head out. Once back at the cars we will have much deserved cool drinks and say our goodbyes. We hope to take you on an adventure! Throughout the entire trip we will be practicing and teaching Leave no Trace Ethics to ensure preservation of our land.
